Operating throughout the UK it is the charity’s resolve and pledge to ensure the sacrifices of police officers throughout the UK and Island of Ireland are never forgotten.
There are over 5,000 deaths listed in the Police Roll of Honour, maintained by the PRT, providing a permanent record that ensures their loss is not forgotten. A comprehensive, fully searchable database can be found on the Trust’s website.
National Police Memorial Day is an important date for the police family, the annual service, open to all to attend, is held in one of the four countries of the UK. This year’s NPMD will take place at Coventry Cathedral, on Sunday 28th September 2025.
Other priorities for the PRT are to establish a physical Welsh Police Memorial, and to continue working in partnership with the new UK Digital Police Memorial.
