Police Care UK is the UK wide charity which provides free psychological therapy and financial grants, to serving and former police officers, police staff, police volunteers and their immediate families, who have suffered ‘harm as a result of policing’.

The charity is independent, and therefore entirely confidential. It receives no statutory funding, and  it’s staff team is supported by a network of volunteers across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Police Superintendents are vital stakeholders in what we do, and knowledge of how we might assist their teams and colleagues is a crucial element of their wellbeing perspectives, which is why we’re delighted to participate in this conference.

Officers, staff, and volunteers can access help and support from Police Care UK for themselves or a colleague (although they must have consent) by visiting the charity’s website, emailing hello@policecare.org.uk or ringing 0300 012 0030 during weekday office hours.
