Chief Superintendent Warren Franklin began the role of national secretary for the Police Superintendents' Association (PSA) in July 2024.

Warren has 28 years' service in policing, working in both Sussex and Kent. He is an experienced operational commander, having worked at strategic firearms commander and Gold level across firearms, public order and CBRN.
He has covered a wide range of roles including neighbourhood policing, custody, Prevent violent extremism and tactical operations. He also served as the force lead for problem solving.

Warren is a trustee for the charity the Police Children's Fund.
