Dr Esther Ingham is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist passionate about supporting police officer/staff mental health. After a life-changing injury shifted her career from music to psychology, she specialised in psychological trauma intervention/support and has helped develop tailored psychological services for police forces, including Lancashire Constabulary, the National Crime Agency and now Merseyside Police. Esther currently leads an award-winning psychological support service within OHU that offers various therapy interventions, critical incident support, and peer support for officers/staff. She also teaches future psychological practitioners and is committed to improving resilience and positive mental health in policing through practical trauma-informed contextual care.
