Neil has been a Police Officer for 24 years with Devon & Cornwall Police. He is currently seconded to the South West region, where as Detective Chief Superintendent he heads up South West Police Collaboration, which comprises of the South West Regional Organised Crime Unit; Counter Terrorism Policing South West; and South West Forensics.

He has a degree in Psychology and a Masters in Policing and Leadership. Neil is the Vice Chair of the Society of Evidence Based Policing (SEBP) as well as being the South West Regional lead for SEBP.
