Speaker Bio
Tim Jackson QPM is a former Chief Superintendent with the Cheshire Constabulary and was the National Secretary of the Police Superintendents’ Association (PSA) between 2014 and 2017, having been its National Deputy Secretary for the previous three years. Tim was awarded the Queen’s Police Medal for his services to policing in Her Majesty’s Birthday Honours List 2016. He retired from the police service in August 2017 having completed 37 years of service. Whilst a National Officer of the PSA, Tim led for the association on the reforms to police pensions, and the development of transitional arrangements, following Lord Hutton’s review of public sector pension schemes and the subsequent decision by government to end existing final salary pension schemes and move to new schemes based on career average re-valued earnings. Tim now acts as a consultant to Philip (within Reflect Financial Limited) and uses his knowledge to support Philip in delivering pre-retirement seminars. Tim is also a client of Philip and was drawn to using his services due to his long-standing and trusted relationship with the PSA, and the security of being part of a FTSE 100 Company, St. James’s Place.
